Please read all the following guidelines before beginning.

2026 Events Form Purpose:

FotoFocus uses the information submitted in this form to populate our events calendar on the Biennial website.

Each accepted venue MUST present at least one event with an educational and/or community engagement focus during the run of the exhibition.

Receptions do not satisfy this requirement unless they coincide with an artist talk, gallery tour, workshop, curator talk, or other educational/engagement event. This form allows venues to include up to three (3) separate events per exhibition, as well as recurring events. Details for additional programming should be communicated to Lilly Hinckley via email: lillyh@fotofocus.org.

As a reminder, events and receptions CANNOT take place on Saturday, October 3, 2026. Please keep in mind that the official Biennial Opening Program includes Wednesday, September 30 through Saturday, October 3.

If your venue has more than one accepted exhibition, you must fill out a 2026 Events Form for EACH exhibition. Venues presenting film screenings should contact Lilly Hinckley at lillyh@fotofocus.org to confirm their screening schedule.

Materials required for the 2026 Events Form:

  • Event title (i.e. opening reception, gallery tour, workshop)
  • Date & time
  • Event description
  • Accessibility accommodations
  • Admission cost

Accessibility Accommodations:

FotoFocus is committed to providing programming that is accessible and inclusive. While it is not required for venues to make accessibility accommodations for events related to the Biennial, if measures are already in place (such as wheelchair access, live captions, large print, assistive listening devices, etc.), we'd like to be aware of them so we can promote them appropriately.
